OPEN DAYS AND EVENTS
The Beacon Plus College regularly hold Open Days and Events, designed specifically for potential learners who are looking for a pathway to employment. Come and explore our learning environment, meet staff, and see how our approach helps learners build confidence, curiosity and strong foundations for the next stage of their lives.
Our events also highlight how we support long-term progression, including opportunities for young people aged 18-25 through our employability programme, alongside qualifications in English, maths, industry qualifications and life skills. We share practical information about how skills such as teamwork, communication and problem-solving are developed over time, helping learners prepare for future pathways with clarity and purpose.
During our Open Days, you will hear about real-world experiences such as work placement opportunities and how they connect learning to the world of work. You can meet our current learners to chat about their journey at Beacon Plus College and try some of the delicious food and bread that they make at the Beacon Plus Community cafe. We encourage you to ask questions, speak with our team and learn more about how Beacon Plus College helps learners grow into capable, motivated adults with the aim to achieve permanent paid work.
