Please see below some information for you about events this Summer to help people get out enjoying and learning about the natural world!

Please see below details of some family workshops that will be delivered in partnership with the team at Kent Libraries & White Cliffs Countryside Partnership to celebrate our landscape and libraries !

The events are Free, but with limited space and so bookings links are provided with more information:

SAVE THE DATE:

SALT + EARTH: Festival of Landscape, Seascape & The Environment will return from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 September 2023, co-produced by Creative Folkestone, Folkestone Fringe, and Kent Downs AONB, in support of the Cross-Channel Geopark.

For three days, there will be a programme of events and activities that will help you to connect with the incredible natural environment on Folkestone's doorstep. Over the weekend, artists, creatives and scientists will explore everything from geography to geology, sounds to sculptures, food to Deep Time. There will be walks, talks, feasts, exhibitions, installations with something for everyone to enjoy.
