Cultural Capital Week 15th-19th December

As part of our curriculum learners take part in two Cultural Capital weeks during the year, the first of which was held in the week beginning 15th December with the theme of ‘Personal’.

The timetable consisted of a week packed with interesting and exciting events including taking part in a relaxing Sound Bath, wellbeing walks, a mindfulness session, a VR relaxation session, ADHD Workshop and Mental Health Myths, visits from the local police force, and the NHS, cooking with the Folkestone Cookery School, presentations from learners about their travels and a visit to the local Panto to see Peter Pan to name but a few!!!
